Once again the EAAB has sent out a communique, on 12 December 2020.
The EAAB has announced that their offices will be closing from the 15th of December 2020, and will re-open again on 4 January 2020.
This is the first year in a long time that the EAAB offices have closed before the deeds offices. There is speculation that this follows the fact that all staff were required to work remotely or from the office during the lockdown period. We who visit their offices regularly know that the staff of the EAAB deserve this break, because they all have been overworked this year.
The EAAB also mentioned that there will be skeleton staff who will be working remotely during the festive season to assist with queries. This will help clear some of the backlog caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Property Practitioners who have outstanding queries with the EAAB are encouraged to use the online query system to resolve the issues at hand. Alternatively, please feel free to contact Agent Aid for assistance! We are happy to help.
