The much-anticipated first-of-its-kind EAAB Online Examinations is scheduled to take place on 19 November 2020. This examination marks the first of its kind for the EAAB, which previously held examinations in person at several designated locations.
There is a lot of curiosity and uncertainty about how it will go, for examination takers and all other stakeholders alike. The EAAB issued a communique in this regard to clear up these uncertainties. The following points were made:

2. The EAAB will not at this time communicate examination seat numbers to candidates. The seat numbers will be populated on the online portal; they will be used to upload examination results and for post-examination queries. Exam candidates who already received their seat numbers should keep record of it for the post-examination process.
3. The examination will be 4 hours long, open-book and strictly via the EAAB online system.
4. Examination venues that were initially published on the EAAB website were meant to enable on-line enrollment. Candidates should not visit these venues on the day of examinations, as all examinations is made to be taken on-line.
5. The Examination is 4 hours long and will commence on 19 November 2020, from 09h00 to 13h00. All examination candidates should be logged in by 09h00 in order to start the examination. At 13h00 the system will close automatically and submit the examination on behalf of the candidate, regardless if all questions are answered or not.
6. The Examination should be taken via a desktop or Laptop. A stable internet connection is needed for the whole duration of the examination, with at least a 1mbps speed. The minimum screen resolution should be 1280×800 pixels. A functioning webcam and sound is also required.
7. Candidates should ensure that they have installed the latest version of Google Chrome, to ensure that the online examination system works fully and properly.
8. The examination results will be released within 6 – 8 weeks after the examination and will be reflected on the online portal of the candidate.
9. All appeals should be lodged through the EAAB online query management System, with the proof of payment for appeal attached, and within 14 days of the publishing of exam results. Late appeals will have a penalty applied to them.
